Help Point the Inexperienced Network Marketer on Your Team in the Right Direction.

inexperienced network marketerI wanted to answer a few questions that I often get asked by the inexperienced network marketer regarding the network marketing industry, while giving you the correct answers!

This way you can address these questions when they come up and guide your prospects and team distributors in the right direction.

Here is a list of the common questions from the …

Inexperienced Network Marketer

Question #1 – What do I say when asked “Is network marketing a SCAM?”

With all the MLM companies out there, once in a while you will find a company posing as a MLM business. As a whole the network marketing industry is not a pyramid scam. The true definition of a pyramid or ponzi scheme is a company that is solely for the purpose of recruiting people into the organization without exchanging any goods, services or selling of any products.

A simple way to determine if the company is legit is to look for a customer service number.  Also, see if they have a headquarters. Just because they have a really cool website doesn’t mean that they are legit. All legitimate and legal network marketing companies have a physical headquarters.

Before you decide to join a network marketing company due your due diligence. Take the time to research the management team, the leaders and their track records along with the structure of the company. If you do this in the beginning you will save time and prevent yourself from throwing away money.

Question #2 – How do I answer the “Can I get rich quick?” question.

inexperienced network marketerThese days money doesn’t grow on trees. Not even in the network marketing industry. Don’t be surprised, it takes a lot of time, marketing effort and sales to be successful in this industry. As with any other business, you have to put some forth some effort in order to generate profits.

I would also like to point out that their is a difference between a direct sales business and a business franchise. It takes less time and upfront money to get started. By learning and implementing effective marketing strategies and techniques, you will be on your way to success quicker than a normal business franchise.

Question #3 – What do I tell a new distributor when asked “Is my warm market my best ideal prospect?”

Your list of family, friends and business associates may be your ideal prospects initially, but really they are just a starting point. Most new network marketers feel like they don’t know enough people to build a home based business. Therefore they gravitate towards their warm market.

Keep in mind, your warm market is just a starting point and it probably won’t be your ticket to wealth. But it’s a good place to start to connect with their referrals, friends and family.

Personal Tip: If you are afraid of being rejected by your family and friends, then don’t tell them about your new business until you have spent some time building your business.

Question #4 – What’s the best answer when asked “Who should I look for to approach with my business opportunity?”

inexperienced network marketerNot everyone you talk to will be interested in the network marketing industry, and many of them will not see the business opportunity as an additional source of income. Some folks already have bad view of network marketing, because of misconceptions, and some won’t be interested in the products that your company provides.

So, before you start showing your home based business to your prospects, make sure that they have a positive attitude towards the industry and that they are the ideal person for your network marketing opportunity.

Here is something to think about. Instead of having the mindset that you have to approach people, change your thinking. You are looking for those that are looking for a way out of their problems. Be friendly, ask questions and listen.

Finally, everyone who is new to network marketing goes through a phase of learning. So don’t feel bad if you didn’t know the answers to these questions. In my experience, the inexperienced network marketer will not take the time to learn about prospecting, recruiting and attraction marketing. Thus starting their downfall to quitting in 90 days or less.

If you are the inexperienced network marketer you can avoid the 90 day dropout mark by developing your skills and learning online marketing strategies in the meantime.
