AS you can see from these gallery images this 1996 Seadoo XP has seem some action. Overall the exterior top side and bottom side are in Good condition. As would be expected with age the paint has oxidized both on the top and bottom and there are a few minor scratches and small gouges on the bottom side hull.

With all the after market products that are available to bring this 1996 Seadoo XP back to life this will be a fun rebuild.

1996 Seadoo XP Inside Hull – Before and Afterword

After the Rotax 727cc Engine was removed it was time to get to work on the inside of the jet ski hull. With this 1996 Seadoo XP rebuild I wanted the interior to stand out when you took the seat off. Everything had to be removed before a good scrubbing and power washing could be done. As you can see the inside hull came out pretty clean. Next was 2 coats of a good quality grease resistant top coat marine paint and a 24 hour cure before I moved on.

1996 Seadoo XP Detailing Work

This is the original 1996 Seadoo XP color. The topside and bottom side had lots of oxidation and minimal wear as would be expected for this year. Compounding, buffing and polishing took a total of 16 hours to complete to satisfaction.

1996 Seadoo XP Additional Modifications

Additional Mods include: Pro-Tec Air Filters, Jet Dynamics intake grate, pump shoe and ride plate, Beach House Sponsons, Black Tip seat cover and mats, Duck Bill drains, primer kit, aftermarket handlebars, finger throttle, tiny tach, bilge pump.
